Installation
- To safely set up your which in tech place a tank into the cart and secure by tightening the wing nut on the side.
- Locate the safety band on the neck of the tank remove the safety band by pulling the tab downward and discard it
- the next step attach the regulator locate the two prongs on the regulator locate the corresponding holes on the neck of the tank slide the regulator down the neck of the tank placing the prongs into the holes secure the regulator in place by tightening the knob.
- Adjust the prescribed leader flow by turning the dial.
- Next attach the end of the nasal cannula tubing into the regulator valve.
- Turn the provided lever or wrench counterclockwise to open check the dial to see how much oxygen is available then the tank is ready for the patient to use.
Troubleshooting
- If you notice Eric coming from the neck the tank why regulators in place immediately turned off your tank by turning the lever or wrench clockwise wait until the dial reaches empty then removed the regulator.
- Check to see if the o-ring inside the regulator is in place if the o-ring has been misplaced or missing contact the community hospice medical equipment division.
- Once you have secured the o-ring reattach the regulator and turn on the oxygen.
Safety Warning
Please do not smoke or keep open flames within 10 feet of the oxygen tank keep the tank in the cart while and use additional attacks must be stored on their side.
